    Dear Amanda and Penny,

Adrian and I were invited to the Grand Dressage Ball 2012 as winners of the Grassroots Award, presented to the owner of the horse producing an outstanding performance in grassroots level competition. We were very excited and honoured to receive this award and had a wonderful evening, met many inspirational people and thoroughly enjoyed the whole event. We would both like to thank all involved for making it a very special night, which we will never forget.

    Thank you.
    Adrian and Suzanne Wong

Thank you so much for organising an amazing ball – it was absolutely brilliant.
It was great to receive an award for representing the Eastern Region, the champagne reception was brilliant, the food was lovely, the raffle prizes were brilliant etc. etc. etc. It was great to see so many people at the Ball. The Live Band was fantastic – and it was amazing that the dance floor was packed from start to finish!
Am looking forward to next year’s Ball!

    Thank you again.
    Louise

    Dear Amanda

On behalf of my wife, Sally Ann and I, please accept our sincere thanks for hosting us at the BDSC Ball. We thoroughly enjoyed your enthusiastic company. Please pass on our thanks and gratitude to all at BD who recommended Sally Ann as the owner of Teddy Edward for this truly wonderful accolade. We appreciate the generosity of BD and sponsors ‘Shearwater Insurance’. Oliver and Emma were outstanding company throughout the evening.
It would be remiss of us not to thank the BDSC for organising an extremely enjoyable Ball. Excellent fare, warm sociable company and fun on the dance floor. Please pass on our personal thanks to their Chairman, Penny Smith.
Only a few months to go until the 2012 Olympics where we wish all those involved in BD and Team GB good fortune and a plethora of medals (preferably all Gold!)

    Yours aye
    Garry Brown

    My dear Penny
Thank you so much for such a super Ball and for giving us such a lovely room for the night too.
I really thought the room looked lovely and the Band was great, the food delicious and the company was fun. I had never met George Goring before, a great chap and most amusing! We really enjoyed the evening and we were able to catch up which was lovely too.
Again thank you so much for all the hospitality and well done for making it such a successful evening.
    Love from Jennie & Ant

    Dear Penny

Please accept my apologies for the AGM and I enclose a cheque for you to buy something for the raffle at the Ball! I hope (and know) you will all have a super time!

Also many thanks for your entertainment at the Nationals – I enjoyed 2 days, and actually won some lovely socks in the raffle!
I am so glad you are sponsoring the National Judges Convention, but sad that it is so far away and not at Hartbury. I cannot get to Buckinghamshire, so I will miss it, sad as they are so good and I trained under Stephen.
What a wonderful year 2011 was, let’s hope 2012 will be as good?!

Many thanks again for all you do.
    From Wendy
